The Combat System is often encountered in RPG Games.
Action RPG is a popular game genre due to many factors. This genre can tell a compelling story with intriguing characters. This genre is known for its long gameplay times. Action RPG This means that the price you pay to buy an RPG game is commensurate with the experience you get, at least in terms of duration.

RPGs have several combat systems. Each system has its own dynamics and requires a different mindset. Although you may enjoy some combat systems, it is possible to not like others.
1. A Turn-Based Battle
Turn-based combat is an old method of fighting. This system is based on each character taking action in turn. It's usually influenced often by a character attribute such _speed. A menu of action/movement options opens when it's your turn. The timer will stop at the point you decide what to do about that character. Both your opponent, and your party, will be waiting for you even if it takes 15 minutes.
The turn-based battle is the slowest combat system and might be considered boring. However, this combat system focuses on players carefully devising strategies. Each character's turn is crucial because each enemy has unique characteristics that require a different strategy. The slightest misstep can be fatal, especially when facing a boss.
2. Active Time Battle (ATB)
Active Time Battle bears little resemblance to turn-based battles. Each new character can move when it's their turn, and what that character does depends on your choices in the menu.
The difference is that characters' turns do not occur alternately. They only come when their waiting time has expired. It's not the same with waiting and/or being busy thinking about and making decisions. Time goes by fast. This means that enemies and party members can move on while you wait. If you make poor decisions, your character will either stop moving or perform the default move (usually a simple attack). It all depends on what game you are playing.
